No! But ˹In fact˺ the stain (i.e., rust) has coveredupontheir hearts for whatthey wereearning
Nay! But, (the) stain has covered [over] their hearts (for) what they used to earn.
Nay, but their hearts are corroded by all [the evil] that they were wont to do
Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts
By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do
But no! In fact, their hearts have been stained by all ˹the evil˺ they used to commit!
Not at all! Rather, their hearts have become encrusted by what they were earning.
No! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts
Nay! rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts
No indeed! Nay! Their hearts will be overcome with rust from what they had been earning.
Of course not; rather whatever they used to do lies like rust on their hearts.
Nay! But their sins and evil deeds which they used to earn have caused a covering on their hearts.
Nay! But that which they used to earn has covered their hearts with rust
Their hearts are rusted by what they’ve been earning.
Not at all. Their hearts have become corroded by what they used to earn
Nay! Of course, a rust has set in over their hearts because of what they had been earning (in their beliefs and deeds)
Of course not! In fact their misdeeds have caused a covering on their hearts
Not at all! No indeed, (but) whatever they were earning has overlaid on their hearts
They will never have faith. In fact, their hearts are stained from their deeds
No! But that which they used to commit has covered their hearts with rust
Nay, but their hearts get corroded by what they have earned. (2:7)
Of course not! Rather, all (the filth) they have earned has rusted and encrusted their hearts
By no means! But on their hearts is the stain of (the evil,) whatever they do
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning
No, a covering has been placed on their hearts for what they have earned
No indeed! Their hearts are encrusted with what they have done
By no means!' Aye! encrusted upon their hearts is that which they have been earning
No. In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts
No indeed! Rather what they have earned has rusted up their hearts.
By no means! But what they themselves have earned has rusted upon their hearts (and prevents them from perceiving the truth)
No indeed! Rather their hearts have been sullied by what they have been earning
Nay! But what they used to do has become like rust upon their heart
No way, but what they used to do has covered their hearts with rust.
By no means, but on their hearts is the stain of that which they do
Moreover, their hearts are coated with rust because of what they did.
No indeed! The truth is that their hearts have become rusted on account of their evil deeds
No,a covering has been placed on their hearts for what they have earned.
No! On the contrary, what they have been earning with their own deeds has made their minds dirty
Nothing but rather, their earnings have rusted their hearts.
Indeed, their hearts have become shielded by their sins
No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts
Nay, rather, what they earned is rust upon their hearts
No but, rather (it) dominated/overwhelmed on their hearts/minds , what they were gaining/acquiring
Their sins have stained their heart so badly that they can not accept the reality
Not at all – but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts
Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts
That is not at all (the case); rather (the fact is that the evil deeds) which they earned have rusted their hearts. (The Revelations, therefore, do not move their hearts.
Nay (not at all so), the truth is that their (evil) deeds have rusted their hearts
Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn
No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts
By no means: But rather their lusts have cast a veil over their hearts
Nay, but that which they have gained has settled upon their hearts
Yes; but their own works have got the mastery over their hearts
No! But their own deeds have drawn a veil over their hearts
Not at all! Nay it is the evils that they used to perpetrate that have encrusted on their hearts.
No indeed! In fact, their hearts have been tarnished by that which they were inclined to commit!
But no, what they committed has taken possession of their hearts.
Certainly not! Stain has covered their hearts because of what they have done.
But no, rather, encrusted over their hearts is what they used to earn.
Of course not; rather whatever they used to do lies like rust on their hearts.
Nay, but it has rusted over their cores what they were earning.
No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a layer of rust over their hearts.
No (never)! Rather, the products of their deeds have covered their consciousness (like rust).
"No (they are mistaken), but the things they have done have put rust on their hearts."
Nay, Rather what they used to do has put rust upon their hearts
No, but what deafened their hearts' ears and made them irresponsive was the blight which their hearts acquired through their ill deeds and woeful story
No, but that which they have earned is rust on their hearts.
Not so, nay, what they used to earn is rust upon their hearts.
By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do
Nay! But, (the) stain has covered [over] their hearts (for) what they used to earn
